Doris Ann “Skip” Pheasant

Doris Ann “Skip” Pheasant, 81, Martinsburg, PA and Rawlings, MD, passed away Thursday at Devlin Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland, MD, where she had recently been a resident.
She was born in Williamsburg, Pa, daughter of the late Harvey Edison and Alice May (Lower) Frye. On March 3, 1956 she married Donald Roy Pheasant in Winchester, VA.
Surviving are her beloved husband, Donald of 62 years; two sons: Donald “Buck” of Spotsylvania, VA and David Pheasant (Tammy) of Rawlings, MD; two daughters: Rosalie Isenberg (Tim) of Madison, WV and Penny Pattison (Ned) of Warsaw, VA; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Shelby Gerrity, Susan Camaroto and Shirley Eubanks; and three brothers: Jim Frye, Bob Frye and Tom Peck.
Skip was a 1954 graduate of Williamsburg High School and was a loving and devoted housewife, mother, sister and friend. She loved playing the piano, baking and was an excellent seamstress.
Friends will be received from 2-5pm, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg and from 10am until the 11am, funeral service, Monday, February 19, 2018 at Memorial Church of the Brethren, Martinsburg, Pastors Eric Fether, Bruce McBride, Tiffany Marvich officiating. Private interment will be held at Shellytown-Fairview Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
