Doris Ann Hoover

Doris Ann Hoover, 86, Williamsburg, went home to be with the Lord early Monday morning at her home.
She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of the late Raymond C. and Thelma (Treese) White. She married John E. Hoover on January 12, 1949.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 66 years of Williamsburg, 3 sons: Frank A. (Mary Lou Sigler) of Reedsville, J. Ed (Kim) of Williamsburg, Ken W. (Silke) of Hollidaysburg; 2 daughters: Lou Ann Hoover of Sproul and Janet K. Hoover (Ray Crotsley) of El Paso, TX; 3 grandchildren: Jay Hoover, Noah Hoover and Jessica Thatcher; 2 great-grandchildren: Cameron Thatcher and Alaina Thatcher; and a sister, Romaine LeCrone of Mashpee, MA.
She was a 1947 graduate of Williamsburg High School and a life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg.
Doris Ann had worked at various jobs in the town of Williamsburg and loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, crafting and knitting.
Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 am, memorial service, Monday, December 28, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, Pastor Tiffany E. Marvich officiating. Inurnment will follow at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
The family prefers memorial contributions be given to her church.
Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
