Dorothy E. Hileman, 74, of Williamsburg, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday morning, March 26, 2019 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Woodbury Township, rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late David Elwood and Mary Elizabeth (Kifer) Brantner.  On September 22, 1962 she married Joseph E. Weidig in Williamsburg and he preceded her in death on December 28, 1987.  She then married John L. Hileman in Williamsburg on October 14, 1989.

Surviving are her husband, John of Williamsburg; three sons: Joseph E. Jr. (Kathie) Weidig of Poplar Bluff, MO, Scott A. (Chris) Weidig of Williamsburg and Clyde W. Weidig at home; a daughter, Julia A. (Jeff) Hileman of Williamsburg; seven grandchildren: Jordan Hileman, Garrett and Mason Weidig, Joseph Weidig III, Sawyer Weidig, Kendall Gaillard and Brandon Clinton; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Clyde “Butch”, Robert and Daniel Brantner; and eight sisters: Rose Lear, Diane Crouch, Carol Allen, Bonnie Hammond, Rebecca Stiffler, Arlene Luke, Nancy Beeler and Catherine “Emma” Detwiler.

She was preceded in death by three sisters: Edna “Tiny” Brantner, Jane Boose and Faye Gorsuch; and four brothers: John, James “Irvin”, Thomas and infant Donnie.

Dorothy attended school in Williamsburg and was a member of Grace Pointe Community Church the former Williamsburg Church of God.  She worked in the cafeteria for the Williamsburg School District and was also employed at Leidy’s Greenhouse, Williamsburg.

She loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed baking, word search puzzles and breakfast on Friday mornings with her friend, Cora Bernadine Chesney.

At Dorothy’s request there will be no public services.  Private interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Dorothy can be given to Grace Pointe Community Church, 815 Yellow Springs Dr., Williamsburg, PA 16693. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
