Dorothy M. Kelly, 89, of Huntington Beach, CA, previously of Williamsburg, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023.

She was born in Lake George, NY, daughter of the late John Calvin and Emma Mae (McCall) Kelly.

Surviving are two nephews: Charles Kelly (Robin), of Aspen, CO, and Timothy Cooper, of Hollidaysburg; two nieces: Melinda Frye (Jack), of Williamsburg, and Patricia Butler (Richard), of Holmes, PA; great-nieces and nephews: Kelly Stewart, Karlin Bellew, Kyle Bellew, Andrea Tiedgen, and Travis Cooper; great-great-nieces and nephews: Bergen Leidy; Ava, Eli, Olivia Tiedgen, Ryan and Caleb Cooper.

She was preceded in death by four siblings: Marie Auman Wilkinson, Charles Kelly, Johnny Kelly, and Donald Kelly, and a niece, Rhonda Cooper.

Dorothy was a graduate of Williamsburg High School and went on to attend Altoona Hospital School of Nursing. Her greatest passion was nursing, in which she was so devoted and loved helping others.

She enjoyed painting, sailing, reading, and especially spending time at Huntington Beach Pier.

Dorothy will be remembered for her warm and caring nature. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion. Dorothy was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Her legacy will live on through the memories she created and the love she shared with her family and friends.

Friends will be received from 12:30 pm until the 1:30 pm memorial service on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., 424 West Second Street, Williamsburg, PA 16693.  Inurnment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Dorothy can be made to Williamsburg Public Library, 511 West Second Street, Williamsburg, PA 16693.

Dorothy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
