Dorothy Mae (Musselman) Leach

Dorothy Mae Leach, 90, of Claysburg, formerly of S. Woodbury Township, passed away on December 19, 2021 at Cornerstone Personal Care Home. She was born on February 13, 1931 in S. Woodbury Township; daughter of the late George F. and Mary (Claar) Musselman. Dorothy worked many years for Beach’s Meat Market in New Enterprise. She was a member of the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren where she was active in church activities. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, sewing, and was an active member of the Cove Lion’s Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Clair Vernon Leach on October 28, 2013; sister Martha Deterline; as well as brothers Henry, Earl, and Albert Musselman. Surviving is son Richard Leach (wife, Alice) of New Enterprise; son Daryl Leach (wife, Belinda) of James Creek; sister Maisie Bingenheimer; as well as 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and 2 step great-grandchildren. An informal viewing with no family present will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 6:00-7:00PM at the Stone Funeral Home in Woodbury. Interment will be in Holsinger Cemetery. If so desired, Memorial Contributions in Dorothy’s name can be made to the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren. Arrangements by Stone Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.
