Douglas Wayne Sollenberger

Douglas Wayne Sollenberger, 69, of Mansfield, died early Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Oak Grove Manor. He was born October 10, 1949, to the late Charles Dean and Twilla E. (Noel) Sollenberger. He was a graduate of Madison High School with the Class of 1968. Doug received an Associate Degree in 1976 from Mansfield Business College with a degree in Accounting. He also received his Associate Degree in 1995 from North Central State College in Hospitality Management. Doug was employed at Westinghouse Corp. with 17 1/2 years. He was a member of the Ohio Lily Society. Doug is survived by a sister, Varlene Parish of Johnsville; a niece, Laurie (Don) Hefley of Porter, TX; and a great-niece and nephew, Damon Hefley and Sherry Hefley of Porter, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Leah Sollenberger. The family will receive 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019, in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury, Pennsylvania, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Brumbaugh Cemetery.
