E. Louise Frederick

September 21, 1930 - March 5, 2020

E. Louise Frederick, 89, rural Martinsburg, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday morning, March 5, 2020.

She was born in rural Martinsburg, daughter of the late Melvin H. and Gertrude Alice (Smith) Hamilton.  On January 24, 1948, she married Richard J. Frederick in Williamsburg.  He preceded her in death on July 12, 2013, after sharing 65 years of marriage.

Surviving are three children: Audrey Stern (husband, Dave) of rural Martinsburg, Linda Brown (husband, Tom) of rural Roaring Spring, and Larry (wife, Sharon) of rural Martinsburg; six grandchildren: Mary Ann, Robert, Lori, Jennifer, Angela, and Eric; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley M. Hamilton in 2013, and an infant sister in 1943.

Louise attended Morrisons Cove High School and worked alongside of her husband at Rich-Lou Dairy Farms in rural Martinsburg.

She was an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Martinsburg.

Louise loved spending time with all her family and especially enjoyed cooking and baking for all of their family get-togethers.

Friends will be received from 1-3 pm, Saturday, March 7, 2020, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Martinsburg, where a funeral service will follow at 3 pm, Pastor Traci Marriott Bowman, officiating.  Private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Louise may be given to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 115 E. Penn St., Martinsburg, PA 16662 or to the charity of your choice.
