Elam J. Stoltzfus, 77, of Woodbury, passed away on February 15, 2024 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on August 14, 1946 in Gap, Pennsylvania; son of the late Leroy and Katie (Petershiem) Stoltzfus. On March 23, 1968 in Morgantown, Pennsylvania, he was united in marriage to Shirley A. (Hostetler) Stoltzfus.
Elam was a Dairy Farmer by trade, retiring in 1990. After retirement, he drove trucks for Renaissance Nutrition and Tussey Mountain Mulch. His last job involved driving a van helping local Mennonites. Elam enjoyed cars and tractors and was a member of the Martinsburg Brethren in Christ Church.
Surviving is his wife, Shirley; son, Ronald Stoltzfus (Jennifer); daughter, Shari Smith (Darren); son, Ryan Stoltzfus (Nichole), grandchildren, Michael Stoltzfus and Danielle Stoltzfus (fiancé, Corbin Adamczyk); and siblings, Barbara Martin (Galen), Jacob Stoltzfus, Betsy Shivery, and Robert Stoltzfus (Vickie).
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 10:00AM at the Martinsburg Brethren in Christ Church; Pastor Michael Abell officiating.
