Eleanor Lucille Ebersole

Eleanor Lucille Ebersole, 96, of Bedford, formerly of New Enterprise, passed away on August 5, 2016 at Colonial Courtyard in Bedford. Born on November 24, 1919 in New Enterprise, the daughter of James Franklin and Katharine (Hall) Steele. She was married to Fredrick Paul Ebersole who preceded her in death on October 17, 1999. She was a Daughter of the American Revolution. Eleanor enjoyed music, art, and was the pianist and organist at the United Church of God. Survivors include son Richard D. Ebersole (Mary Lou); son Rickie L. Ebersole (Cynthia); and daughter Anita G. Baker (Larry) all of New Enterprise. Other survivors include sister Willa Shaffer as well as five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 21st at 1:00PM at the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury. Arrangements by the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home; Woodbury.
