Ellen J. (Fry) Stiffler

September 26, 1946 – August 16, 2025

Heaven gained a new angel, Ellen (Fry) Stiffler, 78, of Williamsburg - Clappertown. She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of the late Kenneth and Ella Grace (McGregor) Fry. On June 22, 1968, she married Kenneth J. Stiffler.  He preceded her in death on April 20, 2007.

Ellen was a 1964 graduate of Williamsburg High School and was employed as a nurse at the Morrison’s Cove Home until she retired in 2004. She was a member of the Clappertown Christian Missionary Alliance Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cleaning, and her creative talents were evident in the blankets and gifts she crocheted for loved ones.

Surviving are a son, Dan Stiffler (Jamie); a daughter, Kathy Lingenfelter; four grandchildren:  Allison Clark, Caplin Lingenfelter, Hannah Clapper, and Sydney Lingenfelter; three great-grandchildren: Abram, Anders, and Archie Clark; and her loving companion, Bruce Cameron.

Friends will be received on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 1:00pm until the 2:00pm Funeral Service at the Fink & Stone Funeral Home in Martinsburg; Pastor Chris Garretson officiating. Interment will be in Royer Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Memorial Contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association for research.
