Emily M. Blatt

Emily M. (Jones) Blatt, 87, of Duncansville, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Celebration Villa of Altoona. She was born on June 9, 1938 in Altoona; daughter of the late Herbert C., Sr. and Martha J. (Nixon) Jones. On January 15, 1959 in Cumberland, Maryland, she was united in marriage to John W. Blatt; he preceded her in death on February 12, 2024.

Emily was a graduate of Robert P. Smith High School and member of the North Altoona Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Surviving are son, Michael D. Blatt and wife Jeanne Kotula of Corning, New York; son, David J. Blatt and wife Christine of Altoona; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 4:00PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 805 S. 16th St. Altoona, PA 16602; Eric Mills officiating. Inurnment will be in Logan Valley Cemetery.
