Emma Jane Forshey, 83, Williamsburg passed away Friday evening at her home.

She was born in Oreminea, rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late James Sr. and Bertha (Hughes) Banks. She was twice married, first to Veto J. Ranalli and then to Robert G. Forshey, both preceded her in death.

Surviving are 2 grandchildren: Kenneth O. Ranalli II (Carlee) of Williamsburg and Shawnna M. Lear (LaMont) of Huntingdon; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Lorma Claycomb and Bessie Lykens both of Williamsburg.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons: Kenneth O. “Wop” Ranalli Sr. and Lynn F. “Wimp” Ranalli; 4 sisters: Lilly Brandt, Mae Newcomber, Nora Kaurudar and Verna Cartwright; a brother, Clair Banks Sr.; and 3 infant siblings.

Emma was a member of the Bonner-Sollenberger American Legion Post 456 Women’s Auxiliary, Williamsburg and loved spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 11am until 12:30 pm, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg. Interment will follow at Oreminea Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.

The family prefers memorial contributions be given to the Bonner Sollenberger American Legion Post 456 Women’s Auxiliary.
