Emma J. Kolodziejczak, 77, resident of The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday morning at The Village.
She was born in Clappertown, rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late Charles W. and Maude M. (Empfield) Banks.
She married Norman G. Kolodziejczak on May 7, 1960 in Winchester, VA.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 55 years of Martinsburg; 2 daughters: Patti Pfister and Cindy Laurich; 8 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pauline R. Hammel.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert E.; and a sister, Ruth Evelyn Wentroble.
Emma attended St. Augustine Catholic Church, Buffalo, NY.
She enjoyed playing bingo at The Village, crocheting, was an avid crafter, and loved spending time with her husband and dog, Ashton.
Private services will be held at a later date and arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
