Eugene P. Steele

Eugene P. Steele, 58, of New Enterprise, passed away on November 26, 2015 at his home.  Born on March 13, 1957 in Bedford, the son of Melvin and May (Strait) Steele.  On January 30, 1982 in Martinsburg, he married Hellen Huffman.  Eugene owned and operated Steele’s Cleaning and Landscaping and worked on various farms around the area. He enjoyed working on cars, spending time with his family and grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and was a member of the Woodbury Church of the Brethren.  He is survived by his wife Helen and four children, Paul Steele of Breezewood, PA; Gene Steele of Bedford, PA; Shannon McGregor of Everett, PA; and Amanda Steele of Siour Fall, MI.  Also surviving are brothers, James and Dwayne Steele, sister Joyce Hoover, and seven grandchildren. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents as well as bothers Jerry Lee Steele and Gary Steele. At request of the deceased a private service will be conducted.  Arrangements by the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury, PA.
