Eunice “Niecy” McGraw, 84, Martinsburg passed away Friday evening at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring.

She was born at her home farm in rural Martinsburg, daughter of the late Lloyd E. and Kathryn I. (Detwiler) McGraw.

Surviving are a sister, Leona Ruggles of Homewood at Martinsburg; lifelong friend, Shirley Detwiler of Martinsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Dean, Lloyd and Bernard; and 2 sisters: Madeline Shoenfelt and Mildred Bowser.

Niecy was a 1948 graduate of Morrison Cove High School, Martinsburg.

She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, rural Martinsburg where she was active in the Women’s Guild.

Niecy retired from Sylvania, Altoona with over 40 years of service.

She loved reading and enjoyed crossword puzzles, computer games, and was a former member of the Martinsburg Women’s Civic Club.

Friends will be received from 12:30 until the 2 pm, funeral service on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, Pastor Betty J. Royer officiating.  Private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

The family prefers memorial contributions be given to her church.
