Eva Mae Eshelman

November 11, 1924 – November 10, 2021

Eva Mae Eshelman, 96, of Martinsburg, passed away Wednesday evening, November 10, 2021 The Village at Morrisons Cove.

She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Irvin J. and Nora M. (Showalter) Keith. On June 28, 1946 she married Russell Eshelman in New Enterprise Church of the Brethren and he preceded her in death on September 5, 1998.

Surviving are four daughters: Norma Jean Stiffler, Lois A. Ritchey (Tim), Linda M. Clemens (Dick) all of Roaring Spring and Carol L. Ebersole (Steve) of Salemville; six sons: Rev. Donald E. (Mary Alyce) of Roanoke, Va, Alan M. of Ore Hill, Kenneth D. of Martinsburg, Larry K. (MerriAnn) of Todd, Gary L. (Christy) of Saxton and R. Wayne of Martinsburg; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Arlene Hall of Mount Vernon, OH

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, James Stiffler; a sister, Dorothy Keith; and a brother, Melvin Keith.

Eva Mae attended school in Roaring Spring and was a longtime member of Martinsburg Memorial Church of the Brethren.

She was primarily a homemaker, who loved taking caring of her family and any other guests that may be visiting her home.  Eva Mae also enjoyed canning, cooking, singing and playing the piano.

Friends will be received from 11am until 1pm, Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church, where a funeral will follow at 1pm at the church, her son, Pastor Donald E. Eshelman will officiate.  Private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
