Evelyn L. (Sell) Ritchey

Evelyn L. Ritchey 91, of Martinsburg, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Conemaugh Nason Hospital.  She was born in Woodbury, a daughter of the late Lester and Sara (Pepple) Sell.  In October of 1955 she married Paul Raymond Ritchey Jr. who preceded her in death on December 9, 2016.

She is survived by four children: Kelly Ritchey and wife Melinda, of Duncansville, Cindy Barton, of Woodbury, Steven Ritchey and wife Jeri, of Roaring Spring, and Thomas Ritchey and wife Cindy, of Martinsburg; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two siblings: Edwin Sell and wife Lois, and H. Richard Sell and wife Cindy, both of Woodbury.  She was preceded in death by a brother Robert Sell, widow Janet, surviving of Martinsburg.

Evelyn was a 1952 graduate of Woodbury High School and was a member and past deaconess of the Woodbury Church of the Brethren.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Friends will be received on Monday September 8, 2025 from 10 – 12 noon at the Woodbury Church of the Brethren where a funeral service will begin at Noon with Pastor David Scott officiating.  Private interment at Replogle Cemetery.  Arrangements by the Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Woodbury.  Memorial contributions may be made in Evelyn's name to: Martinsburg Community Library, 201 S. Walnut St., Martinsburg or Samaritan's Purse .
