Floyd E. Mowery, Jr., 85, of Everett, passed away on July 7, 2025 at the Village at Morrisons Cove. He was born on October 10, 1939 in McKee, Pennsylvania; son of the late Floyd E. Sr. and Mary E. (Ott) Mowery. On June 24, 1963 he was united in marriage to Donna J. (Weaver) Mowery; who survives.
Floyd served his country proudly from 1959 - 1962 as a mechanic in the United States Army, stationed in Germany. He was a graduate of ASI Technical School and Protestant in faith. Floyd retired after 33 years of service as an electrician for New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. – Roaring Spring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, spending time with his grandchildren, and loved his Idaho Family. Floyd was a member of the National Rifle Association and the North American Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Mowery and Betty Klotz (Dave); brother, Gerald Mowery (Joan); great-grandsons, Trey Sipes and Nash Beecher; son-in-law, Barry Perry; nephew, Todd Klotz; and brother-in-law, Dick Burket. Surviving is his wife, Donna; daughter, Tammy Perry of Delaware; daughter, Vicky Morral (Loren) of Hollidaysburg; son, Ricky Mowery (Dawn) of Clearville; grandchildren, Amberly, Amy, Ryane, Randi, Chad, Ramie, and Darren; 20 great-grandchildren with another on the way; sister, Delores Burket; and brother, William Mowery (Penny).
At request of the deceased, services will be held privately with interment in Dry Hill Cemetery – Woodbury.
