Frances L. Lear, 71, of Williamsburg, passed away Sunday morning, October 24, 2021 at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Ralph F. and Virginia C. (Henson) Foutz. Frances was married to Raymond E. Lear Sr., who preceded her in death on January 13, 2019.

Surviving are a daughter, Michele L. Conyers of Williamsburg; three sons: Henry F. Foutz (Melanie) of Narvon, Raymond E. Lear Jr. of Williamsburg and LaMonte F. Lear of Huntingdon; three grandchildren: Devon Foutz, Jasmine Foutz and Raylyn Conyers; many step-grand and great-grandchildren; two brothers: Nicholas and Arthur Foutz both in Georgia; and a sister, Catherine Bonna of Williamsburg.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Agnes Lear and Grace Foutz; and a brother, Charles Foutz.

Frances attended William Penn High School in Harrisburg.  She was primarily a homemaker who also worked for many years as a custodian at the Herbert Hoover Elementary School, Harrisburg and cleaned for various businesses in Dauphin County.

She more recently attended the Williamsburg Independent Bible Baptist Church and for many years attended the former Williamsburg Church of God.  Frances loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and also enjoyed camping and playing cards.

Friends will be received from 3 until 4:30pm, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, where a funeral service will follow at 4:30pm, with Pastor Joseph Weber officiating.  Private inurnment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Union Deposit.

Memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
