Frances M. Smith, 74, of Woodbury, passed away on February 10, 2020 at UPMC Altoona. She was born on May 16, 1945 in Broad Top Twp. Bedford County; daughter of Edgar and Jessie (Winter) Jarrett. On July 3, 1965 in Curryville, she was united in marriage to William D. Smith who survives. Frances was a graduate of the NBC Class of 1963 and a member of the Woodbury Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed the time she spent with her family, reading, and collecting Cardinals. Frances was preceded in death by her twin sons Todd Lee and Troy William Smith; as well as her father Edgar Jarrett. Surviving are her husband William; daughter Christina Dively and husband Brian of Martinsburg; daughter Carolyn Colledge and husband Adam of Everett; mother Jessie Jarrett; grandchildren Natashia Mills (Kent), Joshua Dively (Amanda); and Jordan Miller (Jen); great-grandchildren Kamden, Trevin, and Kayzlee Mills and Mackenzie and Brenna Dively; sisters Linda Thomas (Carl) and Dixie Ebersole (Paul); and brothers Edgar “Bub” Jarrett (Karen), Allen Jarrett, and Harry Jarrett (Vicki). Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 5:00-8:00PM at the Woodbury Church of the Brethren. Funeral Services will be held privately. Interment will be in the New Enterprise Cemetery. If so desired, Memorial Contributions in Frances’s name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
