Frank B. Hicks Sr., 67, of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully Friday evening, February 5, 2021 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Zanesville, OH, son of the late Frank M. and Jean E. (McCormac) Hicks.

Surviving are a son, Frank B. Hicks Jr. (Mandy) of Hollidaysburg; a daughter, Bettijean Beichler (Kenny) of Altoona; five grandchildren: Demetrius Steiner, Jacques Young, Juwan Young, Jathan Young and Jaxson Beichler; and three sisters: Margaret Beck (Stan) of Hollidaysburg, Nancy Becker (Roy) of Williamsburg and Judy Gothot (Jim) of Boardman, OH.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Marley Lei; a brother, Floyd Howard Hicks; and two sisters: Eileen Jenkins and Barbara Campbell.

Frank was a 1972 graduate of Williamsburg High School and also completed courses through the Altoona Vocational School.  He attended Grace Pointe Community Church and the United Methodist Church both in Williamsburg.

He retired as a clothing matcher from Tritex Sportswear Inc., Altoona with 15 years of service.  Frank loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed fishing, hunting and long car drives.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, Rev. James Spivey officiating.  Private interment will follow at Sparr Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
