Frank R. Imler

Frank R. Imler, 80, of New Enterprise, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at his home. He was born on April 23, 1946 in New Enterprise; son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Horton) Imler. On November 19, 1977 at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren Parsonage, he was united in marriage to Connie (Koontz) Imler.

Frank was a Class of 1964 graduate of Northern Bedford County High School. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy from 1965 - 1969. Frank was stationed on the USS Columbus and obtained the rank of Radioman 2nd Class. He retired in June 2008 with 37 years of service as a pulper operator at Appleton Papers – Roaring Spring. Frank enjoyed deer hunting at Joerobbies Camp, camping at Benezette with friends, and camping at Friendship Village with his grandchildren.

Frank was preceded in death by his siblings: Alfred, Chet, Roger, Tom, Donna, Joanne, Patricia, and Beverly. Surviving are his wife, Connie K.; son, Eric married to Nathalie (Clingerman); granddaughters: Ava and Kenley; stepchildren: Joe and Stephanie; step-grandchildren: Lauren, Emma, Nathan, Jeremy and Skylar; 3 great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Sutton and Kayce; siblings: Harley, Pam and Becky; sister-in-law, Lorraine; brother-in-law, Drexel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM Funeral Service at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren; Pastor Paul Snyder officiating. Interment will be in New Enterprise Cemetery.
