Royer

Fred Dale McCall, 78, of Royer, entered into the Realms of Glory on Saturday, March 12, at the Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg PA., following a 20-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease.  He was born on February 5,1944, son of the late Chalmer E. and Edna M. (McConahy) McCall.  On December 14, 1968, he married Mary Ebersole, in Martinsburg.  Their union was blessed with three children: Dale (Traci) of Williamsburg, Mark (Stacie) of Treasure Lake, Dubois, and Yvonne Joy Campbell (Tim) of Roaring Spring.  They shared nine grandchildren: Zachary McCall, Wesley McCall and Tyler McCall; Casi Jo (Spear) Stansbury (Jeremy), Trenton Spear, and Brooklyn (Spear) Henson (Jacob); Madison McCall, Dillon McCall, and Brady McCall. Also, two great-grandchildren. Audrey and James Henson.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 53 years; and three brothers: Kenneth McCall of Yucaipa, CA; J Ed McCall of Martinsburg, and Robert McCall of Williamsburg. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Lois Robley and Gladys Eastep; and three brothers:  Eugene, H. Elwood, and Wayne.

Fred was a 1963 graduate of Williamsburg High School and Juniata Barber School.  He served many years as a barber at Dick Moore's barber shop in Martinsburg and retired after 20 years in the maintenance department at The Village at Morrisons Cove in Martinsburg.

He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.  He loved woodworking, gardening and landscaping and hunting. One of his retirement plans was to be able to help his neighbors with their gardening and flowers, but his health limited that ability.  One of the highlights of his life was his church family at Alexandria God's Missionary Church.  He never wanted to miss attending church.

Funeral Services for Fred will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Alexandria God's Missionary Church in Alexandria, PA.  Attending pastors will be Rev. Matthew Peachey and Rev.
