Gary Robert “Bob” Wagner

Gary Robert “Bob” Wagner, 71, rural Williamsburg, passed away Saturday evening, February 16, 2019 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Altoona.

He was born in Clappertown, rural Williamsburg, son of the late Robert C. and Faye M. (Banks) Wagner.  On June 24, 1967 he married Judith J. “Judy” Anderson in Clappertown and she preceded him in death on April 8, 2014.

Surviving are three brothers: John David Wagner of Brooks Mills, Donald B. Wagner of Roaring Spring and Kenneth W. Wagner of Richmond, VA; four nephews and four nieces.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Jeanne Wagner, who passed away on June 6, 1973.

Bob was a 1965 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg.  He retired as a machine tender/mechanic from Westvaco, Williamsburg with over 40 years of service.

He was a lifetime member of the NRA and also a member of the Martinsburg Sportsman Club, Williamsburg Sportsman Club and Williamsburg Beagle Club.

Bob loved spending time with his wife, Judy and also enjoyed hunting and listening to country music.

Friends will be received from 10:30 am until the noon funeral service, Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, Mr. David D. Cadle Jr. officiating.  Private interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
