Gary G. Bush, 67, Altoona, formerly of Martinsburg, passed away unexpectedly at home.
He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late Leonard R. and Lillian I. (Eicher) Bush.
Surviving are 2 daughters: Denise Hileman (Corey) of Altoona, and Jamie Ann Guzzo (John) of Riegelsville; 4 grandchildren; a brother, Donald L. (Joyce) of rural Martinsburg; and 2 sisters: Bonnie L. Hunter of Donalds, SC, and Connie M. Bush of Martinsburg; and nieces and nephews.
He was a 1967 graduate of Central High School and a US Army Veteran serving from 1968 until 1971 attaining the rank of SP4. Gary was a member and a past commander of the D. Merl Tipton VFW Post 43, Martinsburg and Ray Camp VFW Post 7689, Roaring Spring.
Gary worked for many years as a lineman for Blattenberger Line Construction, and was a member of Memorial Church of the Brethren, Martinsburg. He enjoyed collecting coins and lighters and loved spending time at camp and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.
There will be no public services and arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
