Gaylord Wayne Little

Gaylord W. Little, 78, of Loysburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. He was born in Waterside on March 1, 1948; son of the late J. Arthur and E. Marie (Kagarise) Little. On July 30, 1971 he married Tonia D. (Thomas) Little, who survives.

Gaylord was baptized in the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren on May 1, 1960. He worked in the office of a paper mill in Roaring Spring, before moving on to a toy manufacturing company in Bedford. In 1990 Gaylord started a power washing business which continues under the ownership of his son. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and their pets. Gaylord enjoyed researching the ancestry of the Little and Jamison families and sharing his findings with a group of twenty first cousins across the United States.

Gaylord was preceded in death by his siblings: Gloria Ann (Little) Bassler and Norma Jean (Little) Cessna. Surviving are his wife, Tonia; daughter, Kerri (Little) Martin, husband Matthew, and their children Noah and Mya of New Enterprise; and son, Benjamin J. Little, wife Jessica (Donaldson) Little, and their children, Layton, Colton, and Ashton of Saxton.

At request of the deceased, a private service will be held at the Lower Loysburg Cemetery at the convenience of family.

If so desired, Memorial Contributions in Gaylord’s name may be made to the Southern Cove Volunteer Fire Company, Southern Cove EMS, or the Bedford County Humane Society.
