Gerald E. Brown, 81, Martinsburg, died Thursday afternoon at Homewood at Martinsburg. He was born in Waynesburg, Pa., son of the late Albert and Garnet (Titus) Brown. He married Priscilla Jo West on May 25, 1966 in Waynesburg.

Surviving are his wife, Jo; two daughters: JoDee Cubbage (Bruce) of Hagerstown, MD, and Johanna Koper (Scott) of Winston Salem, NC; three grandchildren: Cameron Cubbage, Chloe Koper, and Carter Koper ; a sister, Dotty Shuppe; and a brother, David Brown.

He was a graduate of Waynesburg University and Shippensburg University. Jerry retired from Northern Bedford High School after 30 years of service. He enjoyed singing music and was a high school play director.

He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Woodbury. Jerry was active in his church, school, and community, and served on numerous boards and councils. He was a member of N.B.C. Education Association and P.S.E.A. Central W. Region.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6pm on Sun., Sept. 12, 2021 at Faith United Methodist Church, Woodbury, officiated by Pastor Josh Tobias.
