Harold M. “Bud” Evans

Harold M. “Bud” Evans, 66, of Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Sheldon D. and Helen Darlene (Campbell) Evans. On July 26, 1980, he married Cathy M. Metz at Royer United Methodist Church, rural Williamsburg.

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Cathy; a daughter, Sara M. Stone (Kevin) of Williamsburg; and two grandchildren, Colton Jack Stone and Kara Mae Stone.

Bud was a 1975 graduate of Williamsburg High School. He was employed at Cenveo, where he retired in January 2024, following many years of service.

He was a member of Royer United Methodist Church, rural Williamsburg and also the United Steelworkers Local 308, Williamsburg.

Bud loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching football and baseball games.

Friends will be received from 10 am to 12 noon, Saturday, November 16, 2024, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, where a funeral service will begin at 12 noon, Pastor Cheryl Gonsman officiating. Interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Bud may be given to Royer United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 34, Williamsburg, PA 16693 or to the Royer Cemetery Association, 506 East Allegheny Steet, Martinsburg, PA 16662.
