Harold “Junior” Sell, 91, of Martinsburg, formerly of Loysburg, passed away on July 8, 2025 at the Village at Morrisons Cove.
He was born on May 30, 1934 in Roaring Spring. Son of the late Harold and Georgie (Casteel) Sell. Junior was a graduate of Replogle High School, Class of 1952. He served in the Army and National Guard. In 1955 he was united in marriage to Eileen (Harre) Sell who survives and would be celebrating 70 years of marriage in December.
Junior retired after 30 years working for New Enterprise Stone & Lime Company as a mixer truck driver. He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He enjoyed traveling, especially cruises and going to the beach. Junior was an avid reader and collected coins and belt buckles. He was a member of the Cove Lions Club for many years, serving as President and Treasurer. He was a member of the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren Board and the Northern Bedford School Board. He was also a member of the Southern Cove Volunteer Fire Company.
Surviving are his wife, Eileen; daughters, Natalie Pepple (Roger), Pamela Grubb (Kevin), and Kimberly; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Baldwin and brother, Richard Sell. Junior was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bob.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM Celebration of Life Memorial Service at the Stone Funeral Home in Woodbury. Inurnment will be in Koontz Cemetery – New Enterprise.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Harold’s name may be made to the American Red Cross or The Village at Morrisons Cove.
