Harold Thomas "Tom" Imler

Harold Thomas “Tom” Imler, 72, of Texas Corner Rd. New Enterprise, passed away and June 18, 2017 at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Altoona. Born on June 21, 1944 in Salemville, the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Horton) Imler. Tom was a graduate of the Northern Bedford County High School Class of 1963 and was of the Methodist faith. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving as a Combat Engineer, receiving numerous medals including a Bronze Star. In his earlier years, Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking his dog Buddy for ATV rides around the family farm. Surviving are sisters Patricia, Beverly, Becky, and Pam; brothers Frank and Harley; as well as his beloved and faithful dog Buddy. He was preceded in death by his sisters Donna and JoAnn as well as brothers Chet, Alfred (Aug), and Roger. At request of the deceased, no services will be held.
