Harry Chamberlain Goodman Jr.

Harry C. Goodman Jr., 66, of Williamsburg, passed away late Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at home, with his loving wife by his side.

He was raised in Alexandria, son of the late Harry C. and Beverly Gail (Cooper) Goodman. On April 15, 1977 he married Nancy Jean McAlevy in Alexandria.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Nancy Jean of 45 years; four children: Harry Goodman III (Julie) and their children Harry IV, Breanna, and Nolan of Six Mile Run; Jay Goodman (Jennifer) and daughter, Myra of Fayetteville, NC.; Crystal Adridge (Terry) and daughters, Lyndsay, Isabella, and Emma of Dover, Tn., and Annie Stapelfeld (Clark) and sons, Winston, Frederick and Linus of Hollidaysburg; a brother, David Goodman; close friend, John Fisher and his faithful hound, Mitch.

Harry was preceded in death by his grandson, James Goodman Stapelfeld and a brother, Calvin Goodman.

He was a 1973 graduate of Juniata Valley High School. Harry was a devout Christian and talented craftsman, who retired in 2015 as a carpenter from Ralph J. Albarano and Sons after 30 plus years of employment.

Harry enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, hunting, and fishing.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg and from 10 until 11am, Saturday, October 15, 2022 where a funeral service will follow at 11am at the funeral home,  Pastor C. Matthew Roberts officiating. Interment will be held Alexandria Presbyterian Cemetery.
