Harry L. Ott, 83, of Martinsburg went to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 20, 2015 at Altoona UPMC.
He was born on October 5, 1931 in Bedford County, son of Orville and Alice (Kauffman) Ott. He married Doris I. Bowser on August 12, 1951 in Woodbury.
He is survived by three Daughters, Linda S. Ott of Michigan, Diane R. Parrot of Roaring Spring, and Deloris A. Ott of Martinsburg. He is survived by two sons, Lowell E. Ott of Loysburg and David L. Ott of Boalsburg. One brother, Albert Ott of Martinsburg. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by a son Daryl L. Ott; sisters Evelyn Helsel and Irene Beach; brother Charles Ott; and Granddaughter Susan Elizabeth Ott.
He worked as a woodsman/farmer and was employed at Giant Eagle in Roaring Spring. He was member of the Martinsburg Brethren in Christ Church. His interests included playing guitar and the mouth organ.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 11:00AM at the Martinsburg Brethren in Christ Church. Friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 the day of the memorial service. Arrangements by S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury (weaversfh.com).
