Harry G. Lloyd. 80. of Williamsburg, died unexpectedly Saturday evening December 26, 2015 at his home. He was born November 6, 1935 in Royer, son of the late James Earl and Anna Pearl (Umbower) Lloyd.

Surviving are a sister Beverly Rhodes (John) of Williamsburg, many nieces and nephews including special nephew Buck Rhodes and many great nieces and nephews including special great niece Chelsey Rhodes. He was preceded in death by a sister Jeannette Roush and 3 brothers James “Carb”, John “Short” and Francis “Hank” Lloyd.

Harry was a member of Grace Pointe Community Church. He was a 1952 graduate of Williamsburg High School and retired as a foreman from Westvaco, in 1997 after 34 years of service.

Harry was a founding member of Seven Falls Angler Club and served in the National Guard from 1953-1963 where he was a 105 Howitzer Commander.   He was an avid fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions, New York Yankees and Williamsburg Blue Pirates and enjoyed baseball, football basketball and spending time with family and friends.

Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the John K. Bolger Funeral Home, Inc., Williamsburg.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Grace Pointe Community Church, Williamsburg with Pastor Dennis J. Pruit, officiating.  Interment at Royer Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to his church.
