HENRY RUSSELL JR, 84 of Raystown road is now rejoicing in Heaven with his Lord and Savior. Died 04/05/2014 in Everett he was Born 12/26/1929 in Woodbury, the son of William H. and Adah (Hartman) Russell. Married Nada (Fletcher) He was a member of the Everett Grace Brethren Church, he was employed as a Dairy Farmer, Self Employed Truck Driver, Farm Equipment Salesman, truck driver and greeter for Wolf Furniture and did church maintenance. He graduated from Woodbury High School and Grad. Altoona Bible Institute. He enjoyed gardening and was a man of many talents (Mr. Fix-it).
Survived by his wife and five daughters Geraldine and husband Tim Angleo of Broad Top City, Glenda and husband Michael Knechtel of Waynesboro, Genavie and husband Lynn Chamberlain of Clearville, Gail and husband Ed Basore of Duncansville and Ginerva Crawford of Greencastle.Three brothers Rev. Robert Russell of Martinsburg, Lloyd Russell of O’Fallon MO and Donald Russell of Woodbury, 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by Grandaughter Cylee Knechtel, Grandson Chad Knechtel, son in Law Lester Crawford, Sisters Thelma Weaver, Dorothy Imler, Brothers Glenn, Richard, Kenneth, Harold and a infant sister
Friends received 4-7 pm Monday the 7th and 10-11am Tue. the 8th all at the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, an 11 am service will be held by Rev. Robert Russell interment in the Dry hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the Everett Grace Brethren Church building Improvement Fund. Arrangements by the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury
