Herbert E. Brown, 84, resident of The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg formerly of Martinsburg, passed away, Thursday, June 3, 2021 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Martinsburg, son of the late Herbert L. and Ethel L. (Holland) Brown.

Surviving are three brothers: Dennis R. (Barbara) Brown of Roaring Spring, C. William Brown of Curryville and David L. Brown of Juneau, AK; a sister, Linda K. Smith (Terry) of Curryville; six nephews; and five nieces.

Herbert attended Morrisons Cove High School, Martinsburg.  He was a longtime member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Martinsburg and was employed for 35 years as a custodian at the Blair County Airport in Martinsburg.

A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg, Pastor Traci Marriott officiating.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
