James F. Fuoss, Jr.

James F. Fuoss, Jr., 61, of Altoona, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 16, 1964 in Tyrone; son of the late James F., Sr. and Betty A. (Dickson) Fuoss.

James was a graduate of Tyrone High School and member of the Citizen’s Fire Company, No. 2 in Tyrone for 10 years. He was employed as an over the road truck driver, obtaining his CDL in 1987, and logging over 2 million safe miles. James enjoyed playing his guitar and the time he spent with his nieces and nephews playing UNO.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Charlene L. VanDrew; and a brother-in-law, Marc D. Isenberg. Surviving is his sister, Sharon A. Isenberg of Williamsburg; nieces and nephews, Kimberly McGregor (James Jr.) of Williamsburg, Tabetha Reid (Landon) of Cochran, Georgia, Anna Corley (Jeff) of Altoona, Todd VanDrew (Kolbi) of Shelton, Washington, Joshua Isenberg (Myranda) of Williamsburg, Jonathan Isenberg (Elizabeth) of Williamsburg, and Justin Isenberg (Dawn) of Williamsburg; brother-in-law, Steven VanDrew; as well as numerous beloved cousins, great nieces, and great nephews.

At request of the deceased, no services will be held.
