James Lee Leach

James Lee Leach, 83, of Roaring Spring, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on August 20, 1942 in Bakers Summit; son of the late Melvin and Hulda (Ritchey) Leach. On July 28, 1962 at the Martinsburg Church of God, he was united in marriage to Jacqualyn (McConahy) Leach.

James was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1962. He was a life-long dairy farmer.

James was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister. Surviving is his wife, Jacqualyn; daughter, Suzy Burket (Michael) of Tyrone; son, Michael Leach (Sheila) of Boalsburg; grandchildren: Kyle, Alicia, Thomas, Ethan, and Colin; and a great-granddaughter, Frankie.

At request of the deceased, a private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
