James M. Lyons, 77, a resident of Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, died Wednesday evening, June 13, 2018 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Philadelphia, son of the late Patrick James and Catherine Veronica (Kenny) Lyons.

Surviving are two daughters: Patricia R. Lyons and Elizabeth R. Ott; three grandchildren; and four sisters: Kathleen Austin, Sarah Kiddle, Mary Nolan and Patricia Coady.

A funeral service with military honors will be held at the convenience of the family at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
