Janeth Carol Baker

Janeth Carol Baker, 77, of Woodbury, passed away on October 28, 2023 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. She was born on August 25, 1946 in Everett; daughter of the late Henry W. and Ruth J. (Swindell) Baker. Carol was a graduate of Northern Bedford High School and member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Woodbury.

She worked as a waitress at the New Frontier Restaurant in Loysburg  for many years and at Your Safe Haven in Everett. Carol was caregiver to Jacob and Marian Miler. She enjoyed her cats, going to the casino, golf, sudoku, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Carol was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Baker. Surviving is brother, Bernie Baker (wife, Betty) of Hollidaysburg; brother, Jerry Baker (wife, Doris) of New Enterprise; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 10:00AM until the 12:00PM Funeral Service at the Faith United Methodist Church in Woodbury; Pastor Josh Tobias officiating. Inurnment will be Koontz Cemetery.
