Jean (Tilton) Rosenberger

Jean T. Rosenberger, 91, resident of Homewood at Martinsburg formerly of Lansdale, PA and Salem, NJ, passed away Monday afternoon at Homewood.

She was born in Mannington, WV, daughter of the late Rev. C.E. and Mable (Mahony) Tilton.  She married G. Ralph Rosenberger on April 9, 1949 in Salem, NJ.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 66 years; 4 sons: John W. (wife, Cheri) of Westerville, OH, Charles A. (wife, Chandler) of Watkinsville, GA, Robert E. (wife, Robin) of Lansdale, PA and James J. (wife, CarolAnn) of Clemmons, NC; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Donald, John and Paul.

She was a 1941 graduate of Salem High School, NJ and received her Registered Nursing certificate from Jefferson School of Nursing in 1947.

Jean was employed for many years as a Registered Nurse at the Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey.

She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Lansdale and was currently a member of the Martinsburg Mennonite Church.

Jean enjoyed spending time with her family and also volunteered for meals on wheels and with home nursing hospice.

Friends will be received from 1 until the 2 pm, memorial service, Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Chapel at Homewood at Martinsburg, Rev. Jerry McCuller Jr. and Pastor Joseph H. Furry officiating.  Inurnment will be held at a later date at North Wales Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family prefers memorial contributions be given to the Chapel at Homewood at Martinsburg.

Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
