Jeannette E. Aurandt, 77, rural Williamsburg, passed away early Saturday morning at home.

She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of the late Harry Ray and Hannah E. (Loose) Lee. On January 12, 1955 she married Clair C. Aurandt in Williamsburg. He preceded her in death on November 10, 1975.

Surviving are 2 daughters: Kathy Waite (David) of Bedford and Kandy Deeters (Russell) of rural Williamsburg; a son, Rusty (Ellen Jane) of Williamsburg; a daughter-in- law, Robin Aurandt of Roaring Spring; 6 grandchildren: Josiah, Rachel, Kristen, Jonathan, Olivia and Isaiah; 2 great-grandchildren: Elias and Sydney; 3 brothers: William, David and Terry; and 3 sisters: Isobel Stiver, Charlene Dixon, and Arlene Frederick.

She was preceded in death by a son, Randy C. Aurandt; 2 brothers: infant Frances and Charles “Dukey”; and a sister, Eva Louise Bookhammer.

Jeannette was a member of the Williamsburg Full Gospel Tabernacle.

She was primarily a homemaker, who also worked at the Blair County Children’s Home and as a waitress for local restaurants.

Jeannette enjoyed reading and baking and was a former member of the Bonner-Sollenberger American Legion Post Ladies Auxiliary, Williamsburg and a former Pioneer Girl.

Friends will be received from 5pm until the 7pm funeral service, Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, Pastor Joe Shawley officiating. Private interment will be held at Brumbaugh Cemetery, rural Martinsburg.

The family prefers memorial contributions be given to her church or Mending Hearts Animal Rescue.
