Jeffrey S. Mills

Jeffrey S. Mills, of 8141 Black Valley Road, passed away suddenly on May 5, 2023, at the age of 56. He was born on June 28, 1966, son of Alton D. Mills and the late Linda R. Mills. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Cara Koontz Mills, son, Jordan S. Mills (Aubrey), his father, Alton D. Mills and special friend Phyllis Price, sister Melissa Anderson (Troy), sister-in-law Kelly Waugerman (Scott), and nephews Brody Anderson and Reece Waugerman. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved very much, and his beloved dog, Maggie Mae.

Jeff was a 1984 graduate of Everett Area High School. He began working at the Everett IGA while in high school, then moved on to Bedford County Beverage. He was later employed by West Providence Township before finishing his working career at the Pennsylvania Turnpike where he loved his work family.

He was a member of the Community Grace Church for 22 years. He loved following NASCAR, always cheering on the Fords. He was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins and absolutely loved the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 3:00PM to 8:00PM and Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 9:00AM until the 11:00AM Memorial Service.  All of the above will be held at the Community Grace Church in Tatesville; Pastor Jeff Peeler will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeff’s name can be made to the Bedford County Humane Society.
