Jessica B. (Balsamo) Ross, 21, Martinsburg, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of Gaspare and Domenica (Melfa) Balsamo. She married Skylar Ross on March 5, 2015 in Hollidaysburg.
Surviving are her parents of Martinsburg, husband, and daughter Selena Marie Ross of Martinsburg; 2 brothers: Giuseppe (wife, Susan), and Nino (wife, Carol); and 2 sisters: Gabriela Balsamo, and Giuliana Dennis (Jason) all of Pittsburgh; 2 nephews: Giuseppe and Alex; and a niece, Giana; and maternal grandparents, Antonio and Giuseppina Melfa in Italy.
Jessica was a 2012 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg.
She was employed at her family’s restaurant, Pizza Star in Martinsburg.
Jessica loved spending time with her daughter and family, and enjoyed shopping, taking pictures, making others laugh and hanging out with her friends.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm, Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church where a funeral outside of mass will be celebrated at 11 am, Wednesday, November 25, 2015 with Father Aron M. Maghsoudi officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
The family prefer memorial contributions be given to help with her daughter, Selena’s medical expenses.
