Joan Lorraine (Replogle) Ritchey

Joan L. (Replogle) Ritchey, 77, of Martinsburg, formerly of Woodbury, passed away on February 24, 2021 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. She was born on April 12, 1943 in Roaring Spring; daughter of the late Jesse L. and Sara Kathryn (Honsaker) Replogle. On August 8, 1964 in Martinsburg, she was united in marriage to Herbert Lee Ritchey. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2000 after 36 years of marriage. Joan was secretary at Northern Bedford High School and enjoyed family-time, gardening, golf-cart rides, and knitting. She was a member of the Martinsburg Mennonite Church, where she was church secretary for 34 years. Joan was preceded in death by her husband Herbert and a brother Wendall D. Replogle. Surviving are sons Eric L. Ritchey (Tina), Lincoln P. Ritchey (Jeana), and Patrick L. Ritchey all of Woodbury; grandchildren Tyler Ritchey (Taylor), Dalton Ritchey, Ashley Ritchey, and Darian Ritchey; and siblings Roger Replogle, Donna Dans, Pauline Ceprish, and George Replogle. Friends will be received on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 2:00-4:00PM at the Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury. A graveside funeral service, officiated by Pastor Joe Furry, will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 11:00AM. This will take place at Dry Hill Cemetery with interment afterwards.
