John Duane Foore

John Duane Foore, 79, of Defiance, passed away on December 2, 2021 at UPMC Passavant-McCandless. He was born on January 2, 1942 in Huntingdon; son of the late Jay (John) and Vesta P. (Winter) Foore. On August 20, 1960, he was united in marriage to Sandra Lucille (Foor) Foore, who survives. John was a self-employed logger and a cement mason. He enjoyed history, studying the bible, playing music, and spending time with his grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his sons Bryan K. and wife Gina (Dachauer) Foore, and Mark D. Foore. Surviving is his wife, Sandra; daughter, Jodie Mitchell and husband Richard; daughter-in-law, Carol (Lemin) Foore; 7 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren; 2 step great-great grandchildren; and sister, Emily Lewis.
