John Dunsmore Querry

John Dunsmore Querry, 77, of Martinsburg, passed away at home on Wednesday June 17, 2020. John was born November 21, 1942 the son of the late David L. and Dorothy C. Querry. John was a graduate of Morrison’s Cove High School. On April 22, 1967, he married Lois May Wildermuth, who preceded him in death on March 26, 2015. John was a partner in Querry Motors. He then pursued his passion for antiques and founded J. D. Querry Antiques. He enjoyed being with his family and friends by his pool and had an avid love for reading. He had been an active volunteer for Home Nursing and Homewood. John attended Clover Creek Church of the Brethren. He is survived by his children Walter, husband of Gwen, of Everett; Rebecca Barshick, wife of Bryan, of Catonsville, MD; and Paul, husband of Nikki, of Hollidaysburg. John had six grandchildren Jessica, Kaitlyn, Grayson, Trent, Harris and Maurie. He is also survived by two sisters Margaret Cable and Dorothy Hall. A private burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
