John Daniel Emeigh, 53, of Osterburg, formerly of Roaring Spring, passed away Wednesday evening, March 12, 2025, at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Roaring Spring, son of Verna M. (Risbon) Emeigh-Clifford and the late Wayne E. Emeigh.

Surviving are his mother, Verna M. Emeigh-Clifford (Ted) of Roaring Spring; fiancé, Adra Lesh of Osterburg; a daughter, Taylor K. Emeigh (Zach Claycomb) of Bedford; a son, Dylan W. Emeigh of Roaring Spring; two grandsons: Walter J. “Walt” Emeigh and Louis M. “Lou” Claycomb; a granddaughter, Adelynn Claycomb; and a brother, Mark E. Emeigh (Donna) of Hollidaysburg.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Dawn E. Huber, and a brother, Robert W. Emeigh.

John was a 1990 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg and attended Mount Aloysius College, where he studied criminology. He was a U.S. Army infantry veteran, attaining the rank of Private First Class.

He worked as a shipping receiver at Tractor Supply, as a supervisor at Rehrig Pacific Company, and was an Operations and General Manager at Wolf Furniture Company.

John loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons, and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins. He also enjoyed bowling, golfing, and working with his hands and completing projects inside and outside of his home.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 12 until 5pm, Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Morrisons Cove Memorial Park (bingo pavilion), where a military honors service will be held at 2pm. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
