John Keiper

John Keiper, 91, of Huntingdon, formerly of Bedford, passed away on August 21, 2023 at The Oaks at Westminster Woods, Huntingdon. He was born on April 30, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland; son of the late Rev. D. Howard and Nancy (Graybill) Keiper.

On October 20, 1963 at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren, he was united in marriage to Joyce Ann (Baker) Keiper, RN.

John received his formal education from Messiah Academy and Juniata College. Together, he and his wife served churches of the brethren for fifty plus years in the states of Pennsylvania, Florida, and Ohio. John’s interests included people, the traditional church, classical music, the pipe organ, travel and camping, antique clocks and furniture, writing, administration, cars, emailing, and peace concerns.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, on January 14, 2020 and an infant son.

A Graveside Memorial Service and Inurnment will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 1:30PM at the Dry Hill Cemetery in Woodbury.
