Joseph Max Imler "Jody"

Joseph Max Imler “Jody”, 65, of Hopewell, formerly of New Enterprise, passed away on October 14, 2024 at his residence. He was born on July 10, 1959 at the Bedford Hospital; son of the late Joseph Leroy and Alta Ruth (Eshelman) Imler.

Jody was a Class of 1977 graduate of Northern Bedford High School. He was a proud member of the football and wrestling teams. Jody enjoyed golf, spending time with his cousins and friends, and attended the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren. He was employed as a machine operator for Appleton Papers - Camp Hill until its closing at which time he began trucking for Sandridge Trucking.

Jody was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Robert McCormick and Andy Bendetti. Surviving is sister, Barbara Bendetti of Florida; sister, Susan McCormick of Texas; brother, Jeff Imler (Jackie) of New Enterprise; nieces and nephews, Robert McCormick, Corey McCormick, Michelle Diehl, Preston Imler, Donn Imler, Wesley Imler, David Imer, Caiden McCormick, Aubrey McCormick, and Scarlett McCormick; and great nieces and nephews, Charlene, Cassie, Tara, Cheyenne, and Sadie.

At request of the deceased, no services will be held.
