Joyce A. Yingling, 68, of Roaring Spring, passed away on January 1, 2018 at The Village at Morrisons Cove. Born on June 23, 1949 in Roaring Spring, the daughter of the late Wilson I. Smith and Grace (Custer) Smith-Callihan (Step Father, Glen). On August 28, 1971 in Piney Creek she married Gerald Yingling who survives. Joyce was a 1967 graduate of Central High School and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, canning, taking pictures, traveling, and reading. Surviving are husband Gerald; son Timothy Lloyd (Victoria) of Roaring Spring; son Daniel Scott (Elizabeth) of Roaring Spring; son David Wilson of Altoona; sister Kathy Kensinger (Ernie); brother Kevin Smith (Jeff Wisdom); brother-in-law Larry Campbell; as well as 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Rosemary Campbell. Friends will be received on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 9:00AM-11:00AM. At 11:00AM a funeral service will take place with Pastor Ed Jelliff officiating. All of the above will be held at the Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury. Interment at Dry Hill Cemetery.
